Blizzard announce BlizzCon 2011

Blizzard has announced plans for the fifth edition of BlizzCon , the convention dedicated to their games, which will be held the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on Friday 21 and Saturday, October 22, 2011 . As per tradition, will feature the franchise Warcraft, Diablo and Stracraft.

“We look forward to host a new show full of great attractions and competitions, and of course a preview of the latest information on the Blizzard Entertainment games,” said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “The thinking is organized BlizzCon our community of players, and we are pleased to organize an event where you can meet and divertirsti celebrating their passion for the game.”

BlizzCon 2011 gaming sessions will offer a preview of upcoming titles targati Blizzard Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment developers conference, friendly and professional tournaments, contests with prizes for the community, exclusive products based on the Blizzard Entertainment game universes.

The previous BlizzCon was held in October of 2010, also in Anaheim. Tickets for the event were sold out within a few minutes, and some of the highlights of the convention was the announcement of the demon hunter, the fourth and final playable character class in Diablo III, and the closing concert of Tenacious D.

More details about BlizzCon 2011, as availability and cost of tickets will be announced on the official Blizzard event draws closer.
