Facebook is focusing a lot on the development of its Messenger application and, after realizing the stand-alone version of the IM client to contact all their friends on social networks directly from their PCs, has released an update for the application for IOS, now at version 1.7.

Waiting for a version adapted to be used and renewed by the large iPad display, the new update of Facebook Messenger for iPhone OS brings with it a host of innovations , some inspired by the functionality of other well-known instant messaging client for IOS as for example WhatsApp or IMessage same.

Here are the main innovations introduced by version 1.7 of Facebook Messenger:

  • Send free SMS to friends (they may be billed for data traffic)
  • Reach your friends wherever they are, on the phone or on the Web
  • Find out who has seen your message and who is not
  • Find out where your friends are sending messages
  • Indicator type to see when your friends respond
  • Solving various problems

Facebook Messenger is available for IOS devices , and can be downloaded from the App Store.
