The director of Microsoft’s Xbox UK, Stephen McGill , told MCV that with Halo 4 , the franchise will return to the origins of the saga, as this new title will match different aspects of the first Halo, which would make him as much as the surprisingly capostitpite:
“One of the main aspects of Halo 4, you go back to what has surprised people who played the first Halo. From this specific point of view, the release of Halo 4 on one side and the remake of Halo: Combat Evolved on the other, will serve the younger players who have not been able to follow the saga from the beginning.
The people who now have 18 years, in fact, when the first Halo came out it had only 8. The Anniversary Pack and Halo 4 will be two perfect opportunities to catch up. At 10 years after its release Combat Evolved is still extraordinarily relevant and is a title that’s why we want to go back to basics. “
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be released next November to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series, but Halo 4 is expected by the end of 2012, both of which, of course, only on Xbox 360 .
