Microsoft Released Bing App for Android

Finally, Microsoft officially released the first Bing app for android but it is available for download only for Verizon users.

Here are some features of Microsoft Bing app:

1) It shows image of the day on your Android phone as on Bing.com. The image has hot-spots that you can click to find out related information. You can view images of last seven days on the app.

2) You can also switch to image search or web search simultaneously.

3) The Bing app for Android also has smooth mapping features. The app automatically finds your current location via network/GPS. After that you can discover new places nearby from categories such as restaurants, banks, theaters. You can also get navigational directions of walk or driving via Bing maps.

4) This app also has integrated voice search. There is a mic icon on the top right side which you can click and speak your search queries and you get results in seconds. The voice search feature works much the same way as Google voice search.
