There were many rumors on internet that Opera is planning to launch Opera mini for iPad at MWC 2011 and now Opera officially launch Opera mini. Just like the Android and Windows 7 tables, Opera mini browser would be available free on Apple Apple store.

According to Opera:

It’s not been approved yet by Apple, but it’s awaiting approval. We expect it to be out soon

Opera claim that Opera mini is fastest web browser with more than 100M users worldwide. Initially Apple had rejected the app on its App Store which acted as a direct competitor to the very own Safari browser. Apart from Android and Windows 7, the Opera Mini grabs a share from the iPhone version.
