“E ‘come to the office after one of the first tablet of CES 2011, MSI Windpad 100W. Here are the first impressions that follow a more thorough review “

A short distance from the closing of the doors of CES 2011, there came to the office Windpad 100W MSI, a tablet PC that most probably serve as a precursor to a wide range of products. In this short video summarizing the main features of the product and the very first impressions of use, a larger study will be published on the pages of Hardware Upgrade.

Windpad 100W has a 10-inch capacitive multitouch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, framed in a plastic chassis which helps to stop the weight at 800 grams. Presents a USB 2.0 port, a mini HDMI slot for a SIM card and SD card, which is useful to expand the mass storage system.

Under the shell there is a Intel Atom platform, in which the processor Z530 with 1.6 GHz single core is backed by 2GB of DDR2 memory and 32GB of NAND Flash for the primary storage. As for the operating system choose MSI for this product Microsoft Windows 7, and paid a bit ‘the price in terms of usability given the low propensity of the operating system to be used in the tablet.

A little ‘subdued there also appeared usability: the hardware platform, created to MID requirements, does what it can drag on for Windows 7 multi-touch and gesture, not always smooth. However, this is a first contact, which is why we invite you to watch the video below, so as to read the review that we publish in the coming days.
