Windows Phone: Microsoft in the U.S. comes close to RIM

The Mobile World Congress 2012 has just closed the curtain and the feeling is shared by all of the marked dominance of Android over all other mobile OS. Although iPhone and iPad are still strong in terms of sales, Barcelona was dominated by green robot that made us – almost – forget about the other player.

We’re talking about BlackBerry and Windows Phone that in the war for domination of the smartphone market share in the third step of the podium. The new and updated data confirms again we come from Canaccord throwing some predictions on the end of Q1 2012 in the USA.

Along with names such as the successful and the Galaxy S2 Droid Motorola Razr, in fact, the U.S. has seen good sales on HTC and Nokia Radar Lumia 710 with Windows Phone.

From here there’s the forecast for North America at the end of Q1 saw a market with Android in first place with a share of 52.7%, almost double the iPhone (23.7%).

 

As anticipated the bronze medal play if RIM and Windows Phone: when the BlackBerry would win the challenge thanks to 11 million units compared to 9.7 million Windows Phone.

Being prepared and having the two producers are very close (8% and 7.1% Microsoft RIM), however, does not mean that the end of March there proves to overtake Windows Phone …
